It was not my child who hung empty cicada exoskeletons all over his shirt – for fun. While I was calming some other crisis with another one of my 9 children, it was not my child who decided to begin yelling in a very convincing panicked voice, “Mom! Mom! They’ve GOT me!”

Wait just a minute – I see that child here, with my husband and sons. Hmmm…

On second thought, nope! These guys are not MY children…

It was also not my child who came up with a tear-free way to peel onions. Also check out our other Not Me! posts… You’ll love our other wordless photos – visit here for more!

Oh no looks creepy and scary…Happy WW! he is brave. Is that real? Mine is up.
It is real – they are simply the exoskeletons of cicadas – they are not alive. My son finds them all over the yard and collects them.
EWWWWW. Man I am glad I have a girl! Very creative!
That’s awesome! I used to wear them as rings but all over?!? What a BOY!

What a family full of blessings! I love it!
LMBO! THe picture of your son with bugs all over him is something that my sisters kids do ALL the time! Love it! Also, that picture of everyone making faces made me laugh real hard, love it! Happy Monday and great blog!
Very funny!
Hi, just wanted to let you know that I mailed your little purple bear bath toy today. I am in GA so it shouldn’t take too long to arrive. I love your blog pics today! Thanks! Kathy
Oh, my boys would do that! Yuck. Stopping by from MckMama’s to check out your not me’s. Nice post.

We’ve done that! I will NOT tell you who started it. LOL
Love the photos too – we also love doing the silly photo awa the “serious”. Laughter is good medicine!
It looks like your boys came by it honestly (last picture). I think your husband looks like a great dad-lots of fun spilling out of the seams.
Ohhh my goodness! Thanks for the big smile so early in the morning, I have 4 sons and must say that I LOVE the things they come up with! Kim
