Slowing It Down

Life is blessedly busy for me right now, and I’m slowing down on blog posting.  Besides our basic daily life with our 9 children, there’s so many other things we are working on.  There’s gardening, tweaking chores and routines, getting ready for our goats to kid in January/February, homeschooling, and numerous other little projects that are wonderful to finally knock off our lists.

My blog address changed, too, so I’m slowly changing old hyperlinks and re-organizing my blog to make it easier to navigate.  Personally, I don’t see any point in putting up too many new posts until I have all the old ones reorganized and ready to roll.  Any blogging shortcuts, tips, or plugins that do the work for me (ha!) would be greatly appreciated – since I’m still learning!

I’m still checking email and comments, so please leave me a note one way or the another.  Twitter is easy to update through my phone, so I’ll try to remember to let y’all know what’s going on – last week I twittered about 550 gallons (10 barrels) of leaves that the children and I raked up and dumped into the garden!

  • If it EVER quits raining here when can start raking up for the compost pile. I think we are giving up on a fall garden as it has just been too wet to get any work done! Have a good time checking things of your to-do list. I know it feels so good to get things done!!!

  • Grrr . . . I know what you mean. The only blog shortcuts I know are as follows:
    #1 Let the kids post.
    #2 Quit hosting mr linkys.
    #3 Quit participating in linkys.
#4 Don’t put so many links in the posts.
Once those things are done it can be pretty quick. Hope that helps. :D
